City Limits was a project space gallery primarily focused on exhibitions by emerging and midcareer California-based artists. City Limits also hosted a reading series called Poems. The gallery was located at 300 Jefferson Street in Oakland, California from 2013-2017. From 2012-2013 it was an apartment gallery located at 35 Naglee Ave in San Francisco, named for its location on the outskirts of town.

City Limits was founded by Evan Reiser in 2012. It was operated by Reiser (2012-2017) along with Lindsay Tully (2016-2017), Micah Wood (2016-2017), Kristine Eudey (2015-2016), Stephanie Rohlfs (2014-2016) and Alyssa Block (2014).
